Local storage, not cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Instead it uses your browser's local storage to keep your account, login session, and progress — virtual credit balance, XP, tier, and check-in streak.

Local storage stays on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, which will permanently delete your account and progress.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist because sites place identifiers that follow people around. We place none. The three entries we do keep are strictly necessary for the service you asked for — without them you could not stay logged in or hold a credit balance — and strictly necessary storage does not require a consent prompt. Adding one would suggest we were doing something we are not.

What is kept

• An account entry holding your email address, username and password.
• A session entry, written when you log in and removed when you log out.
• A profile entry with your credit balance, XP, tier, streak, playtime, achievements and unlocked cosmetics.

Third party storage

Demo games are embedded from their provider. Inside that game window the provider may use its own storage to remember volume settings or where you left off, governed by their policy rather than ours. It has no connection to your account here.

Clearing everything

Any browser can clear site data for a single site, usually under privacy or site settings. Doing that removes the account, the session and the entire progress record for contingencymarket.com immediately and permanently. There is no copy anywhere else, so this cannot be undone.
